Top-ranked Novak Djokovic will kick off his bid for a third consecutive French Open title against Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in the first round of the 2024 tournament.

Djokovic, the defending champion and world No. 1, secured his spot in the draw after winning the Australian Open earlier this year. The Serbian star will face Herbert, the world No. 143, in the opening round of the clay-court Grand Slam.
